My name is Max Martin and I am 29 years old currently living in Lower Sackville and working as the Youth, Young Adult, and Pastoral Care minister at Orchard Valley United Church in New Minas. I have been involved in some way or another with the United Church practically since I was born having been an active member in Sunday School and Youth Group at Knox United in Lower Sackville before moving to Halifax during my undergraduate degree at Dalhousie University. Before landing at Orchard Valley on Easter weekend, I had the pleasure of sharing in ministry with the congregation at St. Paul’s in Spryfield for a little over two years during my SME. I participated in the pilgrimage to GC42 as a pilgrim and have already attended 3 different general councils as a commissioner representing Bermuda-Nova Scotia Regional Council.
